Arijit Singh career

Singer Arijit Singh made headlines this year by posting an apology to Salman Khan and requesting him to use his version of ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ in ‘Sultan’. Well, his version was not used in the film, but he had many hit songs in his kitty like ‘Soch Na Sake’ (‘Airlift’), ‘Bolna’ (‘Kapoor & Sons’), ‘Dekha Hazaro Dafaa’ (‘Rustom’), ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ songs, etc.

However, recently in an interview, the singer shockingly stated that this might be last year of his career. He said, “I don’t think I have a long way to go. This might be my last year.”

“Normally, fresh voices replace (current favourites) every five to seven years in Bollywood. If I work really hard on specific genres, I might be able to stay longer. That way, I can emerge as the only singer who can croon songs of those genres. Maybe that’s how I will survive,” the singer added.

Well, we certainly want Arijit to keep singing as long as he can. This can’t possibly be his last year, especially after giving beautiful and soulful numbers like ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Channa Mereya’.
