As per reports, the actor has encroached on the terrace of his Juhu apartment by constructing a 30×16 sq ft brick room without permission. An activist, who does not even stay in his building approached the BMC and brought it to their notice. After the civic body carried out their investigation, a notice was sent to Mr Kapoor in March. Later, Arjun’s manager approached the K-West ward officer, assistant municipal commissioner Parag Masurkar, requesting to grant more time to put a check on the irregularities. But as there were no developments later from the actor’s side, BMC has issued a second notice to him, stating that he should allow BMC officials in his house to raze the illegal construction.

In a statement issued in a leading daily, Masurkar is quoted saying, “We have given them enough time to produce supporting documents to prove that the structure is legal but they failed. Now we have issued the final order asking Arjun Kapoor to allow us to enter his premises to demolish the unauthorised structure on the terrace.”
