Today has been an amazing day for the Khandaan as actor Salman Khan has been acquitted of all his charges in connection to the 1998 Arms Act case under the Wildlife Protection Act. The Jodhpur court pronounced its verdict today morning and Salman walked out of the court premises, a free man. The 18-year-old case has finally given a sigh of relief to Salman Khan who thanked his fans with a tweet message.

His father Salim Khan also took the opportunity to thank everybody as he said, “Everybody is really very happy with the news. We are happy. There’s nothing to celebrate about it, but we are relieved and extremely thankful to everyone who has been supporting Salman throughout.”

The doting father has always stood like a rock, protecting his son in every situation.

For those uninitiated, the actor had allegations against him for killing two endangered species. He had used illegal arms with an expired license. The license of the firearms had expired on September 22, 1998 as claimed by the prosecution.He was booked under sections 3/25 and 3/27.

Now that the actor has been acquitted of his charges, we are sure there are going to be celebrations galore.
