Vidya Balan chosen as brand ambassador of Indian Film Festival in Melbourne

Actress Vidya Balan has been chosen as the brand ambassador of Indian Film Festival in Melbourne once again. Yes, this is second time in a row that the talented actress has been chosen as the brand ambassador for this festival that will be held in August.

This festival will also see actors like Rishi Kapoor, Richa Chadha and Radhika Apte among others. The theme for the festival this year will be women empowerment. The festival opens with a movie called as ‘Parched’ directed by Leena Yadav that features Radhika Apte among the leads.

IFFM will see veteran actor Rishi Kapoor as the chief guest. He will also be doing the Flag hoisting at the festival on Indian Independence Day in Melbourne. Kapoor is eagerly looking forward to being a part of the film festival. The festival will close with the screening of the movie ‘Angry Indian Goddesses’.
