Riteish Deshmukh to play a musician in his next film ‘Banjo’

Riteish Deshmukh made a smashing debut in regional film industry with a blockbuster action film “Lai Bhaari.’ Very few know that this film was produced by the actor as well. Marathi being his mother tongue the actor had made his debut as a producer with a Marathi film titled ‘Balak Palak.’ This film was helmed by filmmaker Ravi Jadhav who is very popular for his work in Marathi films.

Knowing the style of work and cinematic brilliance of Ravi Jadhav, Eros International is all ready to produce their next film with the director making his debut in Hindi films with Riteish Deshmukh playing the lead in it. The film has been titled ‘Banjo’ and it will be a musical drama reflecting the essence of Marathi culture.

Riteish Deshmukh might be playing a musician in this film which was evident when the actor who is happy to team up once again with this talented filmmaker shared this good news on his twitter account.

The film has Nargis Fakhri in the lead and will have music of composer duo Vishal – Shekhar. The film will start shooting in the month of January 2016, as said in the post as well.

So, hope this talented actor may surprise his audiences in a new role of a ‘Banjo’ player after playing a negative role in ‘Ek Villain.’ Let’s wait for this now.
