Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut-starrer ‘Rangoon’ has been much-anticipated, ever since the trailer and songs of it have been released online. Looking at the trailer, the film is set in the period of early 40’s during World War II, where the characters played by Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor battle for the love of Kangana Ranaut’s character. Quite a similar situation was witnessed on the sets of Kapil Sharma’s show. On Thursday, Shahid and Kangana arrived on the sets of this popular show to shoot for a promotional episode. Though Shahid and Kangana’s co-star Saif Ali Khan didn’t join them here for this promotional episode, comedian Kapil Sharma and Navjot Singh Sidhu stepped into the shoes of Saif’s character, and continued the battle for Kangana with Shahid.
