Jailer 2 LEAKED! Rajinikanth Starrer Footage Surfaces Online After Jana Nayagan; Makers Request, “Refrain From Shring, Reposting This Video”

Footage from Jailer 2 has leaked online, causing concern across the Tamil film industry. The makers have strongly urged fans and media to refrain from sharing the clips. They have warned that their anti-piracy team is actively tracking and will take action against offenders. This incident follows the recent leak of Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, which sparked shock and anger among fans and industry insiders.

Several prominent industry figures condemned the leak and called for strict measures against those responsible. Now, the Tamil film industry faces yet another blow as footage from Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 has also surfaced online. The production team has issued a statement requesting audiences not to circulate the viral clip.

Jailer 2 Makers On Leaked Footage

As reported by Deccan Herald, a statement from Sun Pictures read, “We would like to bring to your attention that a video clip from the sets of Jailer 2 is currently being circulated on social media platforms. Our anti-piracy team is actively monitoring the situation and will be taking necessary action to remove such content, including initiating measures against accounts involved in sharing or promoting these clips.”

“We kindly request members of the media and fan clubs to refrain from using, sharing, or reposting this video, in order to avoid any potential suspension or restrictions on their accounts. Please note that the production will not be held responsible for any such actions taken or for retrieving the accounts,” the statement added.

This marks the second leak in the Tamil industry after Jana Nayagan. The State Cyber Crime Wing of Tamil Nadu Police announced that it had cracked the case. They arrested three more individuals in connection with the leak. Detailing the crime, authorities explained, “The main accused was working as a freelance assistant editor for another film. He unlawfully accessed the reels of Jana Nayagan at the editing studio and stole them. The stolen data was then edited into a movie and shared with co-accused.”

For those unfamiliar, director Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer 2 has generated immense anticipation among fans and cinephiles alike. One of the primary reasons is that the film is expected to deliver the same level of action and entertainment that made the first Jailer a blockbuster. It grossed an impressive Rs 650 crore worldwide. Sources close to the project say that Jailer 2 is shaping up well, following the success of its predecessor.

The filming of Jailer 2 began in Chennai on March 10 last year. This month, Rajinikanth shared a major update, informing the press, “The film (Jailer 2) is in its finishing stage. The production house will announce its release date soon.”

Rajinikanth is also collaborating with Kamal Haasan and is set to begin shooting for that project in August.
