After a successful theatrical run, Prabhas starrer Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire gets an OTT release date

Prabhas starrer Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire hit the theatres last year in December. The movie was high on action and thrills. Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar was headlined by Prabhas along with Prithviraj Sukumaran among others. Now, after a successful run in the theatres, Salaar is all set to stream on the OTT giant Netflix and its release date is out!

Salaar Ceasefire gets an OTT release date

The official page of Netflix took to its Instagram handle to announce the release date of Salaar. Prabhas starrer Salaar is all set to begin streaming on Netflix from tomorrow, 20th January. Sharing the movie’s poster, its caption read, “Khansaar’s Salaar, Varadharaja Mannar’s Salaar is here and you already know the war machine is UNSTOPPABLE! #Salaar is coming to Netflix on 20 January in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.”

The movie had clashed with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki. Though the movies were poles apart with respect to their genres, both earned exceptionally well at the box office.

A part of our Salaar review read, “The makers ensure to have banging action sequences and that’s what Prashanth Neel has followed. After making KGF, Neel takes the action a few notches higher which looks quite entertaining. It will surely increase your adrenaline rush.”
