Prabhas unveils Shruti Haasan’s first look from Salaar on her birthday, calls her ‘energy ball on set’

Actress-singer Shruti Haasan has turned a year older on Friday (January 28). On her 36th birthday, filmmaker Prashanth Neel wished Shruti and unveiled her look from Salaar. Prabhas who is playing the lead too wished Shruti as he also dropped her first look character poster. She plays the character Aadya in the multilingual film.

Taking to his Instagram handle, the Baahubali star dropped the poster of Shruti. In the poster, we see her wearing a brown coloured kurta and white bottoms as she was seen sitting in a thoughtful pose.

Sharing the poster, Prabhas wrote, “Wishing my entertaining heroine, the energy ball on set @shrutzhaasan, a very Happy Birthday!” The actress replied back, “Thankyou so much universal darling!!!! Biggest hugs”.

Post the success of KGF, this is Prashanth’s first film in Telugu as a director. He and Prabhas are coming together for the first time in Salaar. It is rumoured to be a remake of Kannada film Ugramm. Shruti Haasan is also sharing the screen space with Prabhas for the first time. It also stars Jagapathi Babu in a pivotal role. It is an action drama and is slated to hit the theatres on April 14, 2022. Salaar is bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films.

Prabhas had earlier said that Salaar is a territory unexplored and he will be in a never-seen-before character. The film has some high-octane action sequences and it’s the main highlight of the film.
