She said, “I am excited to go to the Nara International Film Festival as a part of the jury. It’s a huge honour because I have been invited by none other than Naomi Kawase (the festival’s director). I became friends with her during Marrakech last year. She’s a filmmaker of international repute. Nara is a beautiful historical city and it’s my first time there. Besides, visiting this quaint town to watch cinema is a delightful getaway.”

Richa Chadha was last seen in Omung Kumar’s ‘Sarbjit’ as Randeep Hooda’s wife Sukhpreet. She has two films in her kitty. One is called ‘Aur Devdas’ which is a political thriller film directed by Sudhir Mishra that stars Rahul Bhat as Devdas, Richa Chadha as Paro and Aditi Rao Hydari as Chandramukhi. She also has ‘Cabaret’ directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi and produced by Pooja Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar.
