What makes this generation of actors in the Indian film industry special is that they all appreciate each other’s work. Recently, Samantha Ruth Prabhu also added to that as she appreciated Akhil Akkineni for the teaser of his upcoming release Agent.

Akhil Akkineni unveils the teaser of Agent

On Saturday, Akhil dropped the teaser of his upcoming release Agent. The impactful teaser shows a shirtless Akhil strapped to a chair with a cover on his face, while a man interrogates him by beating him. As soon as the cover is removed from his face, Akhil’s expressions just reel you in and you see a true hero on screen. Agent releases theatrically pan-India on April 28, 2023.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu praises Akhil Akkineni

Taking to the comments section, Samantha praised this avatar of Akhil and the teaser itself. She commented, “Beast mode on (sic),” with a fire emoji. The way the actress appreciated Akhil won over the internet. What makes it more special is that Samantha and Akhil were also related to each other as the actress was married to Akhil’s half brother Naga Chaitanya.

Samantha and Chaitanya got married in 2017 and after 4 years of marriage, the ex-couple separated in 2021. But seems like the separation hasn’t affected Samantha’s relationships with her in-laws. As for Akhil and Chaitanya, they are both paternal half-brothers as they are sons of South superstar Nagarjuna.

Professionally, Samantha is in a great place right now. She is working simultaneously in Hindi and in South.
