Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared the new poster of her upcoming movie Yashoda and announced the teaser release date. The actress took a break from her social media detox and dropped the post. The Yashoda actress dropped a new poster featuring herself. In the poster, Samantha is seen standing in the middle of a massive crowd of women. She is surrounded by women in a crowd and is sporting a bruised face look. The actress has bruise marks on her face and is covered in blood.

The actress shared the new poster on Instagram and mentioned that the Yashoda teaser will release on the date, September 9, at 5:49 PM. She shared the poster and wrote, “The indomitable will !! #YashodaTeaser on Sep 9th @ 5:49PM (sic).

Talking the film, Yashoda is directed by director duo, Hari and Harish. The movie also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, and Sampath Raj in key roles. The Samantha starrer is scheduled to release in theatres in the languages- Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.

On the work front, Samantha was last seen in the Vignesh Shivan movie Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. She played the role of Khatija in the film co-starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. The actress also has a movie with Vijay Deverakonda in her kitty, apart from a few others projects.
