On Friday (July 16), the makers of Suriya starrer Vaadi Vaasal dropped the title-look poster. Vaadi Vaasal is based on Tamil writer CS Chellappa’s novel of the same name. Directed by Vetri Maaran, the film is backed by Kalaipuli S Thanu’s V Creations. In the title poster, we see the symbol of a bull with a dark tone. Suriya also shared the same on his social media handles. “Thank you for all your love!!,” he tweeted. On Suriya’s birthday last year, the makers of Vaadi Vaasal released the first-look poster of the film.

For the unversed, Vaadivasal is a place in Madurai district, Tamil Nadu, where Jallikattu (Tamil sport) is celebrated and visitors from the state and other parts of the country attend the event.

The film went on floors in September last year but due to the Covid pandemic situation, the shoot was halted. The team is all set to resume shoot soon. The music of the film will be given by GV Prakash Kumar. Reportedly, Vaadi Vaasal is the most expensive project of both Suriya and Vetri Maaran. Reports also state that the Soorarai Pottru star has charged a whopping amount of Rs. 30 crore for the project.
