Shehnaaz Gill commences shooting her maiden Punjabi production; says, “Starting a new journey today”

Fan favourite Shehnaaz Gill has stepped into the world of production with her next Punjabi film. Directed and written by Amarjit Saron, the film is produced by Shehnaaz herself, along with her longtime manager turned producer Kaushal Joshi.

Shehnaaz made the exciting announcement on social media, sharing a series of pictures from the film’s set. She captioned her post, “Starting a new journey today and immensely proud and happy to announce that we commence the shooting of my Punjabi film with my dream team.”

In her first image, Shehnaaz is seen holding a clapboard featuring the film’s title, director, and director of photography (DOP) details. The next shot captures her and the crew members seeking blessings, likely marking the start of the filming process. The subsequent images showcase Shehnaaz posing happily, culminating in a group photo with the cast and crew.

Shehnaaz Gill began her career as a singer before making her mark on television. She further gained fame as a model after her appearance in the 2015 music video “Shiv Di Kitaab.” She made her acting debut in 2017 with the Punjabi film Sat Shri Akaal England. However, her memorable stint on Bigg Boss 13, where she finished third, catapulted her to widespread recognition. Her romantic involvement with the late actor Sidharth Shukla also drew significant public attention.

Following her Bigg Boss success, Shehnaaz made her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which further broadened her fanbase alongside co-stars Pooja Hegde and Raghav Juyal. She also featured in Thank You For Coming with Bhumi Pednekar, Anil Kapoor, Karan Kundrra, Kusha Kapila, and Dolly Singh. Currently, she is set to star opposite Varun Sharma in Sab First Class. She continues her exciting journey in the entertainment industry.
