Ali Fazal opens up on Vikrant Massey’s absence in ‘Mirzapur 2’; says, “You’ll see a lot of Bablu every time there is Guddu”

In ‘Mirzapur’ Season 1, we have seen almost half of Guddu’s family is wiped out by Munna Bhaiya (Divyendu Sharmaa). Guddu’s (Ali Fazal) character is all set to take the revenge and he will be seen in a more volatile form. In the previous season, it was Bablu (Vikrant Massey) who guided Guddu and showed him the correct way to do things. In the absence of Bablu, will there be challenges for Guddu?

Well, in a recent interview, Ali answered to this question as he said, “When a tragedy occurs in your life and a huge part of your family is wiped out in front of your eyes, you don’t know how you are going to react. You could go crazy, walk out of Mirzapur, or turn into something unexpected.”

Ali further said, “I did math on his character. It’s a lazy brain and not a dumb brain because it’s the same family. There are a smart brother and sister, the father is a lawyer, the mother is a genius on other frequency. So, I have tried to oil his brain a little and you will see him struggling and trying to find his way out. But yes, there is that vacuum that his brother has left because he used to handle everything. It’s like you lean on somebody’s shoulder and know that he will take care of everything, and you be the cool guy, and do violence. Now, it has become two-fold. You will see a lot of Bablu every time there is Guddu.”
