Bikramjeet Kanwarpal Passes Away: Nakuul Mehta, Gurmeet Choudhary, Rajeev Khandelwal offer condolences

Film and television actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal breathed his last on Friday (April 30). The 52-year-old actor died due to Covid-19 complications. A retired army officer, Kanwarpal made his acting debut in 2003. He had played supporting roles in many films, television shows and web series. He also starred alongside Anil Kapoor in the TV series 24.

Bikramjeet’s sudden demise came as a huge shock for everyone. His industry friends and colleagues are still trying to fathom the fact that he is no more. Nakuul Mehta, Gurmeet Choudhary, Rajeev Khandelwal, Rohit Roy, Deepika Singh and several other celebs took to their social media handles to offer condolences to Kanwarpal’s family and friends.

Rajeev Khandelwal took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “And sad news it’s someone who I have known closely. Maj Bikramjeet is no more but his memories will live with all those who knew him. A very warm wonderful person, superb actor n co actor, a man full of dreams is how I will remember him. U will be missed Bikram. My deepest condolences to Bikram’s family. But at the same time I request all of you to not lose grip on your positivity. Terrible news is pouring in from all quarters. But it will stop because it has to stop. Let’s be there for each other, now and always.(sic)”

Deepika Singh, who had worked with Bikram in Diya Aur Bati Hum, wrote, “Gone too soon major 💔… RIP Major”

“I called him Major. An absolute gentleman and a wonderful talent. He fought Covid to the very end. Remembering you today sir,” wrote Nakuul Mehta.

Rohit Roy, Gurmeet Chaudhary also mourned Kanwarpal’s demise.

Bikramjeet featured in films like HeroineGrand Masti, Page 3, Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Aarakshan, Murder 2, and 2 States to name a few. He also featured in popular shows like Crime Patrol, Mere Rang Mein Rangne Waali, Diya Aur Baati Hum, Yeh Hai Chahatein, Dil Hi Toh Hai and Tenali Rama among others. He was last seen in Special OPS.
