EXCLUSIVE: Did you know Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar’s was an Instagram love story? Watch video

Rahul Vaidya left all of us in awe when he went down on his one knee to propose to his wife, actress Disha Parmar for marriage. The singer made a grand proposal on national television during his Bigg Boss 14 stint. Rahul and Disha went on to tie the knot, some months after the singer’s exit from Bigg Boss. Since then, they manage to send the internet in frenzy with their social media PDA and romance. But, did you know, it was Instagram that played cupid between Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar. DisHul joined Bollywood Bubble for the opening episode of Chemistry 101 season 2. The actors opened up about how they met.

Speaking with Bollywood Bubble, Rahul said, “How we met, how we got to know about each other, is through Instagram. So, ours is very today’s social media kind of love story.”

He added, “So, I had come up with a song, which was put up by one of friends. He (Jitesh Pillai) put it on his Instagram and from there, Disha saw it.”

Rahul Vaidya continued, “Then, she came to my Instagram and left a comment. She left a comment there.” Disha Parmar went on to share that she had commented “Love it,” reacting to the post. She further went on also reveal that Rahul’s song is one of her favourite.

The singer added, “That was enough right? Ladko ko ek sundar ladki comment karde, utna bohot hota hai (For boys, only a comment from a beautiful girl is enough.) Rest is history. Maine kaha, comment aaya, ab toh gayi yeh (I thought, the comment has dropped, now she’s gone.)” He added, “It started from there. We started chatting from there.”
