Kapil Sharma, stand-up comics to pay a heartfelt tribute to late comedian Raju Srivastava- WATCH

Raju Srivastava was one of the most loved comedians in India. Raju passed away on September 21, 2022. The comedian’s demise left a void in the world of comedy. Several celebrities including Vicky Kaushal, Kapil Sharma, and Amitabh Bachchan among others expressed shock over his unfortunate demise and offered condolences to his family. Now, many comedians will come together on Kapil Sharma’s show The Kapil Sharma Show to pay an emotional tribute to the late Raju Srivastava.

Kapil Sharma shared a video on Instagram and gave a glimpse of the special episode. Kapil captioned it, “A tribute to our beloved #rajusrivastava bhai… this weekend only on @sonytvofficial.”

Reacting to the post, a fan wrote, “Legend miss you.” Another one commented, “We will miss you legend.” “This is great,” wrote a fan.

On the other hand, comedian and actor Jayvijay Sachan took to Instagram and shared a BTS photo from the sets of the show. In the photo, Jayvijay can be seen posing with Kapil Sharma, Srishty Rode, Sunil Pal and other comedians. He captioned the pic as, “All renowed comedians came together under one roof to pay a tribute to Late #RajuSrivastava ji. Catch us all on The Kapil Sharma Show on coming Saturday-Sunday #TheKapilSharmaShow.”

Jayvijay shared another picture from the sets of the show and wrote, “India’s biggest comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ is going to pay tribute to the legend, late Raju Srivastava ji on the coming weekend.” He also reminded fans to watch the upcoming special episode.

For the uninitiated, Raju suffered a heart attack on August 10 and was immediately rushed to the hospital. The comedian underwent angioplasty and since then, he was on a ventilator. Raju’s mortal remains were taken to Nigambodh Ghat crematorium for last rites. The comedian is survived by his wife and two children.
