‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is one of the funniest shows on television. Every character in the show has become a household name be it Jethalal or any other characters. Monika Bhadoriya, who played Bawree on the show was also equally loved by the audience. The rumour mill had churned out a piece of news that Monika owns a bungalow that was estimated to be of Rs 10 crore.

Monika had joined the show in 2013 as she played the character of Bawree who was Bagha’s (Tanmay Vekaria) love interest. She got quite popular on the show especially her catchphrase “Galti se mistake hogayi”.

In a recent interview with Mayapuri, the actress was asked one rumour that she believed to come true, she said that people said that she owns a bungalow of Rs 10 crore and that she would like it to come true and then she burst out laughing.

Meanwhile, talking about her exit from the show after six years, Monika said, “Yes, I have left the show but I don’t want to talk about it. The show and the character are definitely close to my heart. I was looking for a better pay scale but they didn’t agree to it. However, I have no qualms as professionally they relieved me. In fact, I don’t mind coming back to the show if they agree to pay what I asked for. But I don’t think it’s happening so yes, I am no longer a part of the show.”
