Pavitra Rishta 2 promo: Ankita Lokhande and Shaheer Sheikh bring back memories of Sushant Singh Rajput’s show

Pavitra Rishta Season 2 will start streaming on ZEE5 soon. The show stars Ankita Lokhande and Shaheer Sheikh. Today, Ankita shared the first teaser of the show on her social media handles. In the show, Ankita will reprise her role of Archana while Shaheer Sheikh will be playing Manav. After watching the teaser, we sorely missed Sushant Singh Rajput who had earlier essayed the role of Manav.

In the teaser, we see Ankita in the get-up of Archana while Shaheer is seen as Manav. It shows some of the endearing moments of Manav and Archana and they are also seen tying the knot. It brought back lots of memories associated with the 2009 show. Sharing the teaser, Ankita wrote, “Love toh hoga hi in the air, jab Manav and Archana are there! Join them in the journey of love that will soon turn into #PavitraRishta coming soon on #ZEE5 #ItsNeverTooLate(sic)”. In the teaser, a voice-over in the background says, “Some relationships are special”. Also, we hear the song Sathiya Yeh Tune Kya Kiya playing in the background.

A few hours back, Ekta Kapoor shared a special montage video on her social media to announce that Pavitra Rishta 2.0 would be released this Ganesh Utsav. It also had glimpses of Sushant Singh Rajput and Hiten Tejwani.

Ekta shared the video and wrote, “GANPATI BHAPPA MAURYA Coming soon! To new beginnings #pavitrarishta coming soon on @zee5premium n then after few days on @altbalaji!(sic)”
