Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan to air once again in 2021; Dipika Chikhlia says, ‘Looks like history is repeating itself’

Last year, amidst the Coronavirus induced lockdown, Ramanand Sagar’s popular and most-watched mythological show Ramayan was re-telecasted on television. The show did manage to keep the viewers glued to their idiot box. And now that the Maharashtra government has imposed a 15-day lockdown in the state, Ramayan will be airing once again on Star Bharat every day at 7 pm.

Dipika Chikhlia, who played the role of Devi Sita in Ramayan, took to her social media handles to share her excitement over this new development with her fans and followers. 

Sharing a still from the show, Dipika took to her Instagram handle and wrote,So excited to share that Ramayan will be airing on the small screens again this year! Ramayan aired during the lockdown last year and looks like history is repeating itself. The show has been a huge part of not just my life, but thousands of Indian families for years. Come be a part of our community and share the knowledge of the Ramayan with generations to come. Tune in to Star Bharat every day at 7pm to watch Ramanand Sagar’s ‘Ramayan’(sic).”
