Sobhita Dhulipala and Arjun Mathur are set to reprise their role as Tara and Karan as they return with Made In Heaven 2, the two took to their Instagram to announce the release date.

Made In Heaven season 2 release date out

Sobhita Dhulipala plays the lead role of Tara in the show. Her performance has garnered her an immense fan base and it is widely acclaimed by critics too. The actress, took to her Instagram to treat her fans with the first poster which features the stellar cast of the show. Revealing the date, Sobhita wrote in her caption, “Making it official, finally! Team Made In Heaven is ready to enter the shaadi business again. #MadeInHeavenOnPrime S2, Aug 10!.”

In the poster, we get introduced to Sobhita and Arjun’s first look as Tara and Karan. The series also stars Jim Sarbh, Kalki Koechlin, Shashank Arora, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and Vijay Raaz. The new additions to the show are Mona Singh, Ishwak Singh and Trinetra Haldar.

Arjun Mathur apologizes for the four-year delay in the web series

Arjun Mathur aka Karan also shared the same poster. His caption is our favourite. He started off with an apology for the delay, he stated, “Honestly, There were a few options for witty captions to go with this post. But I think I’ll lead with – A humble apology on behalf of every natural and unnatural force that contributed towards this delay, and sincere and immense gratitude for your untiring patience. We’ve worked hard and (very) long to bring you a season that hopefully matches your sky-high expectations from us, and is deserving of all your love.”

Assuring us that it’s going to be worth the wait, Karan wrote, “It’s twice as heavy on the drama, the scale, the cast, the grandeur and everything else you might want from it. And I bring you ‘Karan’, again.. straight from my heart. So – now that we’ve had our ‘date’, baat pakki samjhein? Mark your calendars. #MadeInHeavenOnPrime S2, Aug 10!.”

About Made In Heaven 2

Just like the previous season, the seven-episode series will revolve around our elite wedding planners based in New Delhi. It will showcase the grandeur of Indian weddings. The new season explores the characters’ lives as they face the challenges of organizing and celebrating marriages while dealing with unexpected personal developments. Like the first season, it includes cameos and addresses social prejudices.

Made In Heaven 2 is directed by Alankrita Shrivastava, Neeraj Ghaywan, Nitya Mehra, Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar. It is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Media & Entertainment and Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s Tiger Baby. The web series will premiere on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on 10 August 2023.
