The teaser for the much-anticipated series The Railway Men is finally out and it’ll give you goosebumps. The upcoming series is based on the Bhopal gas tragedy, the world’s worst industrial disasters. The show features R Madhavan, Babil Khan, Divyenndu Sharma, and Kay Kay Menon. The intriguing teaser narrates the story of four heroes aka railway workers who were posted at Bhopal station and fought through it all to save the lives of hundreds.

The Railway Men teaser out

The teaser opens with a glimpse of a gas leak in a big factory. A voiceover tells the story and says, “Ek hadsa hua hai. Bad hadsa. Purane Bhopal mein ek chemical factory se ek gas leak hai. Shehar ka gala ghot raha hai. Is waqt Bhopal junction Dilli ke nakshe se gayab ho chuka hai (There’s been an incident. A big one. A gas leak at a chemical factory in old Bhopal. The city is choking. At the moment Bhopal junction has disappeared from the railway map).”

We then see R Madhavan, who plays Rati Panday (General Manager of Central Railways), telling station master Kay Kay Menon to do something as soon as possible. Babil Khan, who is the only local pilot present at the station, is saying that it’s city and those will die are his people. We also get a glimpse of Divyenndu as police constable. The actors have aced it and how!

Netflix shared the teaser on Instagram along with the caption, “One tragic night that stirred the entire nation and four heroes who fought through it all. Here’s the teaser for #TheRaileyMen – a four episode series inspired by true stories.”

Fans react to The Railway Men teaser

Reacting to the teaser, a fan commented, “Wowww just look at the cast.” Another fan commented “Just goosebumps… feel like we need this four gentlemen in our cinematic universe.” “It’s great to see @babil.k achieving everything,” wrote a fan. Another fan commented, “It will be an epic.”

For the uninitiated, Yash Raj Films is making its debut in the OTT space with the production of The Railway Men. The series is slated to release on 18th November on Netflix.
