A few days back, reports about Kareena Kapoor Khan teaming with Arjun Kapoor for the ‘Life In A Metro‘ sequel had surfaced, however, Arjun couldn’t sign the dotted line due to his jam-packed schedule with Kareena still on-board. Post which, rumours about Kareena’s hubby Saif Ali Khan being approached for the film hit the headlines. Now it looks like, Bhushan Kumar and Anurag Basu’s sequel to 2007 film ‘Life In A Metro’ seems to have a found the leading actors finally, at least a report in DNA suggests so.

A source close to the leading daily popped ‘Stree’ actor Rajkummar Rao’s name stating, “Anurag was impressed with Rajkummar Rao’s repertoire. He was keen to cast him and discussed the idea with Bhushan. Both of them met the actor recently and offered him the part.”

Though the actor has not signed the film yet. “The ‘Newton’ actor has been approached for the same track that features Kareena. He has liked the story, but is waiting to see if his dates can be worked out,” added the source.

Besides Rajkummar Rao, the production house of ‘Life In A Metro’ has approached two more stars for the other stories. “The script has been sent to Sidharth Malhotra, but reportedly he hasn’t responded. Along with him, it has been offered to Nawazuddin Siddiqui as well,” revealed the source.
