shah rukh khan ted talks, gurmeet ram rahim singh

Yesterday, Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insaan was sentenced to twenty years of imprisonment by the CBI court. Ever since the verdict, not many celebrities have come ahead to voice their opinions on the matter, as every opinion snowballs into a controversy and our celebs are perhaps trying to be wary in this case.

However, Shah Rukh Khan couldn’t hold back his response as soon as he realised about the verdict. A source close to a daily states that during the shooting of ‘TED Talks: Nayi Soch’ yesterday, Shah Rukh Khan spoke about the verdict. A source leaked the information that when SRK discovered about the verdict in the case, he instantly took to the mic and said, “The director will perhaps not like it as it is not a part of the show but I am happy to say Ram Rahim Singh has been sentenced.”

The insider has disclosed this information to Mid-Day with a disclaimer that says, “The channel is not likely to air what SRK said about the self-styled Godman who produced ‘MSG: The Messenger’.” (Also Read: Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh had sexual relations with daughter Honeypreet: Son-in-law)

For those uninitiated, the self-styled miracle man, Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insaan has been accused of raping female devotees and threatening them to remain mum or he would kill their family members if they ever speak up. He has also been accused of murdering his ex-manager Fakir Chand and ordering mass castration of 400 male devotees. Some of them have spoken about it in the open. And to add to this, his son-in-law Vishwas Gupta has filed a petition against him stating that he had sexual relations with his adopted daughter, i.e. wife of Vishwas, Honeypreet.

Coming back to the point, it’s not clear if SRK really said that and if he did, then it’s admirable. But, the channel may choose to do away with the part.
