If the latest reports are to be believed, a new Jodi will be seen on the big screen soon. No, we are talking about a romantic couple but Bollywood superstar Akshay and Tiger Shroff are said to be teaming together for the first time for a big-budget action-comedy. According to Pinkvilla, filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar is going to make a film and wants two actors from different generations and hence wanted to show both Akshay and Tiger in the most heroic possible way. Ali was working with Shahid Kapoor for Bloody Daddy and now it is reported that he is now planning to work these two handsome hunks. It is already making us a little excited about the venture.

The film is touted to be the costliest Bollywood film as it will be made on a whopping amount of Rs 300 crores. “Ali Abbas Zafar has been wanting to make a 2-hero film for a while now, and he got supremely excited on getting this chance of directing two big action stars from different generations. On wrapping up Bloody Daddy with Shahid Kapoor, he will commence work on the pre-production of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. He has a certain vision, and is planning to present both Akshay and Tiger in the most heroic possible way,” revealed a source close to the development. While approx. 60% of the budget has gone into actor fees, over Rs 100 crore will be invested in mounting the film on a lavish scale.
