Akshay Kumar angrily explains why he works in 4-5 movies in a year: Kya baat hai bhai, kya pareshaani hai?

Akshay Kumar, who has often faced flak for working in at least four movies in a year has finally broke his silence on the same. The actor explained why he works in four movies in a year. He expressed his anger over the discussion on his ways of working and shooting. Akshay Kumar asked why is there a problem if he is working.

The Ram Setu made an appearance at the Hindustan Times leadership summit on Saturday. During the event, Khiladi Kumar explained why he works so much. He spoke about how he is often asked “Aap itna kaam kyun kar rahe ho? (Why are you working so much?)”

Akshay explained, “Aare kon nahi karega? Kaam karunga main. 4 filme karunga (Aare who will not? I will work. I will do 4 movies).”

The actor added, “Haan, agar picture ke andar 50 din chahiye, 50 din dunga. 70 din chahiye, 70 din dunga. Main apne din ki baat kar raha tha. 40 din mein meri khatam ho jayengi (Yes, if a movie requires 50 days, I will give it 50 days. If it needs 70 days, I will give 70 days. I am talking about my days of shoot. In 40 days, I will complete my shoot).”

He continued, “Waise bhi picture ko kariban 70-90 din lagte hain. Lekin meri samajh ke bahar hai. Main aisa bola nahi hun, lekin aaj mera mann karta hai main bolu. Ki, kya baat hai bhai? Kya pareshaani hai? (Anyways, to complete a film entirely, it takes 70-90 days. But, its beyond my understanding. I never talk like this, but today, I feel like talking. What is it brother? What is the problem?).”

For the unversed, it was only recently when Boney Kapoor made a statement on actors who shoot for 30 days, when he explained about movies not doing well. The internet speculated that the producer took a sly dig at Kumar, giving that the actor is one of the few known to wrap his shoot in 30 days.

The Ram Setu actor further spoke about the questions on his early morning wake up ritual. On the same, Kumar said, “Mujhe puchte hai, ‘Aap itne subah kyun uthte ho’. Aare subah uth raha hoon, toh uthne do na. Matlab, subah bani hai uthne ke liye. ‘Raat mein bhi jaldi so jaate ho’. Aare, raat ko sota hai admi. Meri samajh mein nahi aata hai main galat kya kar Raha hun (They ask me, ‘Why do you wake up early?’ Aare, if I am waking up early, so let me do that no. Means, the morning is made to wake up. ‘At night as well, you sleep early’. Aare, at night, a person goes to sleep. I am not understanding what wrong I am doing).”

This year, Akshay has had five releases, namely-Bachchan Pande, Samrat Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan, Cuttputlli and Ram Setu, so far. The actor has the movies Gorkha, OMG 2- Oh My God 2, Selfiee, Capsule Gill and Soorarai Pottru remake.
