Alia Bhatt looks ethereal as she dons her wedding saree once again for National Award ceremony

Actor Alia Bhatt has reached Delhi to be honoured with the prestigious 69th National Film Awards. Alia Bhatt has bagged her first Best Actress National Film Awards for her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi. As she will be receiving an award today, Alia arrived at the ceremony with her actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor. And guess what? Alia Bhatt surprised us with her National award look as we were reminded about her wedding day. For the 69th National Film Awards ceremony, Alia Bhatt made her winning day all the more special as she was seen wearing her wedding saree.

The Gangubai Kathiawadi actor picked her Sabyasachi off-white gold saree for her National Award win. She pulled her hair into a fancy bun, and white roses and chose minimal makeup. Alia rounded her look with a beaded gold necklace and gold earrings. She looked beautiful as she charmed us once again by wearing her wedding saree. Well, this indeed is a pleasant surprise and none of us were expecting this to happen. We were prepared to see her in a different saree look but not prepared to see Alia Bhatt in her wedding saree once again.

Not many know the Darlings actor has often spoken about sustainable fashion and yet again, she proved to do the same. She is often seen wearing clothes that she has worn before in some events. In fact, Alia also sold her sarees from Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Bhatt took to her Instagram account and penned a lovely note expressing gratitude. “To Sanjay Sir..To the entire crew..To my family..To my team & last but most definitely not the least To my audience. This national award is yours .. because without you ALL none of this would be possible.. seriously!!! I am SO grateful, I do not take moments like these lightly.
