Sidharth malhotra blacklash twitter

We all know that since yesterday morning there has been unrest in Punjab and Haryana due to the verdict of rape case that was filed against Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. Well, amidst all the hulla-bulla over the case, Sidharth Malhotra took to Twitter to say that he hopes people in Punjab and Haryana are able to see the film.

Well, this didn’t go down well with Twitterati, and they started criticising Sidharth for the tweet. The actor had tweeted, “To all the people of Haryana , please stay safe. Hope you can see our film soon #Agentleman #PeaceAndLove.”

When we had met him and asked him that if the failure of ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ has put a pressure on him for ‘A Gentleman’, he said, “Definitely! It’s like a bad day at work or office in a month. You want every film to do well, but for me personally coming from outside, wanted to make it big in the city and when something doesn’t go my way, it just charges me up much more. I think it makes you work much harder that becomes a motivation for your next film. But, I am pretty excited about this release (‘A Gentleman’). Not the pressure, but a little more aggressive.”

Well, looks like the aggression only took a toll on him this time. Let’s see how ‘A Gentleman’ fares at box office.
