He as well demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi must apologise for his recent Pakistan trip, if ‘ADHM’ was to be grounded merely due to a Pakistani connection. After receiving a lot of virtual flack, Kashyap has now re-justified his statement and says that he has every right to question the PM.

For those uninitiated, Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ landed amidst disputes after the terror attack in Uri which was allegedly initiated by terrorists from Pakistan. As an outcome of strong ‘nationalist’ sentiment, a number of political parties called on ban on Pakistani artistes and threatened to now allow the release of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ as it features Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. The protesters have also warned the same for Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Raees’ which also stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan.
