ar rahman, ar rahman pune concert,

Legendary singer AR Rahman is known for his soulful and heart-touching music. Recently, the singer was performing in Pune at a concert. While the singer was singing, a policeman stepped on the stage and stopped his concert. This has left fans extremely upset. In fact, a lot of people have taken to Twitter to point out how the music maestro was disrespected.

A video of a policeman stopping his concert has surfaced online…

AR Rahman was performing in Pune at the Raja Bahadur Mill area in Pune. The timings of the live concert were from 8 pm-10 pm. A police officer went on stage and stopped the concert midway. This action by the police wasn’t well received by the crowd and further left his fans upset. Later, police issued a clarification stating that the singer had exceeded his time and hence it was necessary to stop him. According to the sources, the singer was singing his famous song Chaiyya Chaiyya while he was made to stop.

A video went viral on Twitter where the entire scene was captured. AR Rahman handled the chaos with utmost patience and listened to the cop. A member of the audience took to Instagram and posted the video along with the caption, “Extremely disappointing of #PunePolice to shut down #ARRahman ‘s concert in #Pune at 10.14 PM. While the rule of 10 pm cutoff is understood, this is nt how a visiting artist of his stature should hav been treated. He was almost on his finale song when this happened @CPPuneCity.” A few of his other fans also expressed their disappointment and called it unfair.

The singer took to Twitter and posted pictures from the concert…

Later, the ‘Tere Bina’ singer took to his Twitter and posted a few pictures from the concert and thanked the audience for their love and support. He captioned the post, “Pune! Thank you for all the love and euphoria last night! Was such a roller coaster concert! No wonder Pune is home to so much classical music! We shall be back soon to sing with you all again!”

He again shared a video from the concert and confessed to having a rockstar moment, again thanking Pune for the rollercoaster ride and wrote, “Did we all just have the “Rockstar” moment on stage yesterday? I think we did! We were overwhelmed by the love of the audience and kept wanting to give more..Pune, thank you once again for such a memorable evening. Here’s a little snippet of our roller coaster ride ;)”
