Aryan Khan has been finally granted bail in the cruise ship drug case. Shah Rukh Khan’s son was taken in by the NCB on October 2 after he was caught in a drug bust on a cruise in Mumbai. Along with Aryan, his friend Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were also arrested. They were repeatedly denied bail, but the Bombay High Court finally granted bail to Aryan Khan and the other’s yesterday on October 28. The Bombay High Court had said that the official bail order will be pronounced today on October 29. The bail order has finally been pronounced and Aryan will soon return home. The Bombay High Court had pronounced bail conditions that the accused will have to follow.

As per a report by Live Law the bail order conditions include:

  • They should execute a personal of Rs 1 lakh with one or more sureties in the like amount.
  • They shall not indulge in any activities similar to the activities on the basis of which the Crime stand registered by the NCB
  • There should be no attempt to influence witnesses.
  • The accused will surrender their passport immediately to the special court.
  • They will not be allowed to leave the country without prior permission.
  • If the accused have to travel outside Mumbai, give their itinerary to the investigating officer.
  • Accused shall not make any statement pending before the special count in any form of media.
  • AryanKhan, ArbaazMerchant and MunmunDhamecha will have to attend the NCB Mumbai office each Friday between 11 am and 2 pm to mark presence.
  • If any of the conditions are violated, NCB shall be entitled to straightaway apply to the special judge for cancellation of bail.
  • The accused will have to attend all the dates in court unless prevented by a reasonable cause.
  • Accused shall not try to establish communication with co-accused or any other person involved directly or indirectly or make any call to any person indulging in similar activities.
  • They shall join the investigation as and when called by the NCB.
  • Once the trial begins, the accused shall not in any manner delay the trial proceedings.

Aryan Khan was sent to the Arthur Road Jail on October 7 along with the other accused. He has spent 22 days in jail and will be finally returning home. Shah Rukh Khan was moved to tears after bail was granted to his son Aryan. Aryan’s lawyer, Mukul Rohatgi told a news channel, “Shah Rukh Khan shed tears of joy.

He has been very, very worried the last three-four days that I was there and I’m not even sure whether he had proper meals. He was just having coffee after coffee. And he was very, very worried. And I could see a big sense of relief, yeah, on the father’s face last time I met him,” Rohatgi told NDTV.
