Ashutosh Gowariker’s next film to be a Sci-fi

Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker’s much-anticipated historical saga, ‘Mohenjo Daro’, starring Hrithik Roshan that released last week, opened to average reviews and collection at box office.

And the director is now all set for his next. While Ashutosh has already attempted different genres like action, adventure and rom-com, period films have always proved to be his forte. Speaking to an entertainment portal, the director was asked about a new genre that he would like to explore in film making, to which Ashutosh said, “I am a fan of science-fiction films and I may try my hand at one soon.” His favourite sci-fi movies are the ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Star Trek’ series.

While the director has already worked with Bollywood biggies like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan, he is yet to direct Salman Khan. Talking about the same, Ashutosh said, “I should have a story, idea and a character that suits Salman Khan.”
