Athiya had also reacted to the wedding rumours and clarified that no wedding is happening.

Dismissing the wedding rumours, Athiya had said, “I hope I’m invited to the wedding that’s taking place in 3 months. Lol.” In an interaction with Radio Mirchi, Suniel Shetty had said, “No, nothing has been planned yet.” Athiya’s brother Ahan had also reacted to the rumoured wedding. Dainik Bhaskar quoted him saying, “As far as the wedding is concerned, there are no arrangements being made. There is no such ceremony, these are all rumours. When there is no wedding, how can you give a date?”

The actress made her acting debut with Hero. She later appeared in Mubarakan, Nawabzaade and Motichoor Chaknachoor.
