‘Bell Bottom’: Akshay Kumar starrer will be the first film to commence shooting in international location

The much-anticipated thriller ‘Bell Bottom’ starring Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta will be the first film to commence shooting after the long lockdown.

Directed by Ranjit M Tewari and written by Aseem Arrora & Parveez Shaikh, the first schedule of the movie will begin in from next month ie. August. The entire team of ‘Bell Bottom’ will be heading to the UK for the same. So ‘Bell Bottom’ cast will be the first to shoot at an international location amid coronavirus spread.

Sharing his excitement over the latest announcement regarding his film, Akshay took to the micro-blogging site and wrote, “Looking forward to doing what we do best! Time we get back to work! #Bellbottom to go on floors next month @vashubhagnani@vaaniofficial@humasqureshi@LaraDutta@ranjit_tiwari@jackkybhagnani@honeybhagnani@monishaadvani@madhubhojwani@nikkhiladvani@EmmayEntertain@poojafilms(sic).”

And yes, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta are the latest addition to the film’s cast after Vaani’s entry.

Inspired by true events, ‘Bell Bottom’ is set in 1980s and is the story of one of India’s forgotten heroes. Presented by Pooja Entertainment in association with Emmay Entertainment ‘Bell Bottom’ is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani. The film is set to release on April 2, 2021.
