Covid Vaccine: Farhan Akhtar, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D’Souza and others get their first shot

The second wave of Covid-19 is spreading like wildfire and the cases have been multiplying rapidly. Amidst this, more and more people have been getting their shots of the Covid vaccine. Many Bollywood celebrities have been creating awareness about how important vaccination is. Recently, actors like Farhan Akhtar, Sonakshi Sinha, Genelia D’Souza, Sonakshi Sinha and others have got their first shot of the Covid vaccine.

Farhan took to his Twitter account and sharing that he got his first shot and wrote, “Got my first jab today via drive through at Andheri sports complex. Thank you to @mybmc & @MumbaiPolice for the streamlined system. To those waiting their turn, the process does take 2-3 hours (for now) so please be patient. Carry water & a snack, if need be. Stay safe. ✊?”

Genelia D’Souza also took to her Instagram account and sharing a picture of herself getting the vaccine shot, she wrote, “Get Vaccinated !!! Let’s fight this monster together…. #vaccinationdone✔️ #vaccination(sic)”
