It’s confirmed! Shahid Kapoor to star in the Hindi remake of ‘Arjun Reddy’. Sandeep Vanga, who helmed the original film will direct the Hindi remake too. The leading lady of the film has not been confirmed yet. The film will be produced by Ashwin Varde and Murad Khetani.

‘Arjun Reddy’ is about a medical student falling in love with his junior at first sight and how their relationship progresses. The film starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in lead roles.
Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ opposite Deepika Padukone and will be seen paired opposite Shraddha Kapoor in ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’.
