Dear Maya, Raju Chadha

The presenter of the very awaited film ‘Dear Maya‘ starring Manisha Koirala, and also the chairman of Wave Group, Raju Chadha, was recently honoured by the World Punjabi Organisation. The function was held at Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi over the weekend in the presence of Sikh personalities from various social spheres which included leading businessmen, lawyers, social workers, bureaucrats amongst other prominent people.

Dr Chadha said, “It’s a great honour for me to be felicitated by the World Punjabi Organisation and I shall treasure this evening forever. The recent conferment of honorary Doctorate in oriental heritage upon me was indeed a big honour and a tribute to my efforts in doing community work and that of the larger interests of humanity, though my motive has purely been my selfless pursuit of social giving. As pointed by our Sikh gurus… cruelty, material attachment, greed and anger are the four rivers of fire, and falling into any one of them, one is burnt. Hence abstain from the above and lead a righteous life.” (Also Read: Five reasons why you shouldn’t miss Manisha Koirala-starrer ‘Dear Maya’ this Friday)
