Dia Mirza took to Instagram and penned a cute birthday wish for stepdaughter Samaira on her 14th birthday. Sharing a picture with Samaira she wrote, ” It’s our baby girl’s 14th birthday ? Sam, may you always know that your safe space is in our arms. We will always love you, protect you and hold you close. Have a magical day and year ahead jaan.”

In the picture shared by Dia Mirza to wish Samaira, the youngster is seen resting on Dia’s lap as they travel through the forest. The actress has one of her hands on Samaira’s head while she placed another on her leg. Dia looked gorgeous in an olive green jacket and pants while Samaira wore a purple jacket and trousers.
For the unversed, Samaira is Dia’s husband Vaibhav Rekhi’s daughter from his first wife Sunaina. Dia and Vaibhav tied the knot in 2021 and welcomed a baby boy a few months later.
Speaking about her relationship with Samaira the actress opened up about the bond of love and respect they have for each other. She also said that currently, her daughter has her number saved as ‘not the wicked stepmother yet’.”

The actress was last seen in Bheed, directed by Anubhav Sinha. The social drama is all about an elite woman stuck on the road amid the pandemic-induced lockdown. She is unable to reach her child. Bheed also features Pankaj Kapur, Ashutosh Rana, Rajkummar Rao, and Bhumi Pednekar.
Dia next has Taapsee Pannu’s production Dhak Dhak in her kitty. The movie is based on a road trip and also has Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanjana Sanghi in pivotal roles.
