Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer Phone Bhoot released in theatres on 4th November. The horror-comedy is being loved by the masses. Post the release, many took to Twitter to praise Katrina, Ishaan and Siddhant’s performances in the film. On the other hand, some netizens also tweeted about the iconic film references in Phone Bhoot. The one that many can’t stop talking is the indirect mention of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva in Phone Bhoot.

After the release of Brahmastra, a section of netizens trolled the fantasy drama for having Amitabh Bachchan aka Guruji’s secret hideout location on google maps. Some even discussed about Ranbir’s character Shiva talking about Alia’s character Isha being his AgniAstra’s button.

A Twitter user pointed out that Phone Bhoot features jokes on the same lines. The Twitter user wrote, “Not the cast of #PhoneBhoot going to a secret hideout of the antagonist and saying, ‘AATMARAM KI JAGAH KAISE DHOONDE, YEH TOH GOODLE MAPS PE BHI NAHI HAI” or capturing his weapon and saying: ‘ASTRA HAI TOH BUTTON TOH HOGA’.” The tweet is going viral.

Another user wrote, “He did that too with chikni chameli in Brahmastra.” “Areee Bhai (laughing emojis),” wrote one user.

Phone Bhoot is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and backed up Farhan Akhtar & Ritesh Sidhwani. Talking about Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, it also starred Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. Shah Rukh Khan made a cameo in the film. Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva released on 9th September, and is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. Brahmastra did well at the box office, and now it’ll be interesting to see how Phone Bhoot will perform at the BO.
