Disha Patani’s Sister Khushboo Patani Reveals What Happened At CJP Protest In Delhi- Watch

Khushboo Patani, sister of Disha Patani, has expressed her support for the ongoing student protests at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. She revealed that she attended the CJP’s “Chalo Sansad” march in disguise to witness the demonstration firsthand. Scroll down to read what she said.

Khushboo Patani Reveals What Happened At CJP Protest In Delhi

Sharing videos and photos on Instagram, Khushboo said, “I covered my face with a mask and wore a cap before joining thousands of students on the streets.” In her posts and stories, she praised the conduct of the protesters, especially the young men. She stated, “I never once felt unsafe despite the massive crowd. Many men consciously kept their hands raised above their heads while walking to ensure they did not accidentally make inappropriate contact with women in the packed gathering.”

Khushboo also spoke about the police action during the march towards Parliament. She claimed, “Although students vastly outnumbered law enforcement personnel, they chose not to retaliate despite facing force during the crackdown. Lakhs of students were there, and law enforcement was only in thousands. They could have done anything, but our Gen Z students chose peace. They took the lathi blows but did not raise their hands.”

She added that she witnessed several students being injured, including women protesters who bore the brunt of police action. Recalling her own experience, Khushboo said she was caught in the chaos while trying to run from the scene and was also struck during the crackdown.

The protest, which has been ongoing at Jantar Mantar for nearly a month, demands education reforms, accountability over NEET paper leaks, and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The movement gained further momentum after activist Sonam Wangchuk joined with an indefinite hunger strike.

Monday’s “Chalo Sansad” march ended in clashes between protesters and police. While Delhi Police alleged that demonstrators turned aggressive and violated prohibitory orders, protesters claimed that excessive force, including lathi-charge and tear gas, was used against them. Several public figures like Shabana Azmi, Prakash Raj, and Pratibha Ranta have expressed support for the students. Despite ongoing talks with government officials, the protest continues at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.
