Mirzapur: The Movie has achieved a remarkable milestone, grossing Rs 132 crore worldwide at box office. The film also made a strong opening in 2026, becoming one of the biggest Hindi openers of the year. Its Day 1 performance placed it among the top debuts behind titles like Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2. Mirzapur The Movie Box Office Day 3

The movie opened on September 4, 2026, with an India net collection of Rs 25.75 crore across 11,135 shows. It saw a 24.3% increase on Day 2, adding Rs 32 crore net and bringing its two-day total in India to Rs 57.75 crore, with an India gross of Rs 69.30 crore. On Day 3, the film collected Rs 36 crore net, which lifted its three-day India net to Rs 93.75 crore and India gross to Rs 112.35 crore. Overseas, it earned Rs 7 crore on Day 3, pushing its total overseas gross to Rs 20 crore and its worldwide gross to Rs 132.35 crore by the end of the opening weekend.

The opening weekend showed steady growth: Rs 25.75 crore on Day 1, Rs 32 crore on Day 2, and Rs 36 crore on Day 3. This consistent upward trend highlights its strong audience reception. In comparison, Toxic opened with a blockbuster Rs 101.10 crore net on Day 1. However, the film experienced sharp declines of about 62-64% on Day 2 and a further 28% on Day 3. Despite the drops, Toxic crossed Rs 165 crore in three days, illustrating a different trajectory from Mirzapur.

Directed by Gurmmeet Singh, Mirzapur stars Ravi Kishan, Jitendra Kumar, Rasika Dugal, Sheeba Chadha and Abhishek Banerjee. Shriya Pilgaonkar, Shweta Tripathi, Harshita Gaur, Sonal Chauhan, Rajesh Tailang, Sushant Singh, Mohit Malik, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda were present. The film was released on September 4 in Hindi and a Telugu-dubbed version.

Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment have presented the film. Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar have produced the film under the Excel Entertainment banner. The original Mirzapur web series on Amazon Prime Video has been a massive hit. 3 seasons have been released, and a fourth season is in development. It is one of India’s most popular streaming shows.
