Farhan Akhtar to play papa to a 7 year old

Filmmaker, singer, actor par excellence Farhan Akhtar is busy with the shoot of the sequel to his hit flick ‘Rock On’. The movie has all the members of the original star cast with an addition of the ‘Aashiqui 2’ beauty Shraddha Kapoor. The story of the film is carried forwards from the prequel where we have Farhan Akhtar happily married to Prachi Desai with a 7-year-old son. Yes! Farhan Akhtar will be playing father to a seven-year-old kid in Rock On 2.

Sources said, “It’s been 7 years…all characters are playing their age…hence all conflicts are internal and the battles lie within.The story continues from where we left off . But there are some new characters.”

Sources added, “Farhan and Shraddha’s characters actually don’t meet until a certain point in the story. When they do meet, it’s because they are both musicians and it’s music which holds all the protagonists together. The essence of the plot is to bring out the dynamics of relationships that people share with each other through life…Human bonds that go beyond romance and love as we traditionally define them.”

‘Rock On 2’ team is at present shooting in Shillong.
