Have a look: Darshan Kumar and filmmaker Omung Kumar on the sets of ‘Sarbjit’ biopic

Darshan Kumar is one of the few debutants in Bollywood to get some good quality work to show his acting skills. From playing Priyanka Chopra‘s on-screen supportive husband in ‘Mary Kom‘ to running after the life of innocent Anushka Sharma with his menacing act in ‘NH10,’ he experimented brilliantly with his roles. Now he is ready to surprise us with his new role in upcoming film ‘Sarbjit.’

Recently, the actor who plays the role of a Pakistani lawyer named Khalid Pervaiz, was clicked in his look while in some discussions with his director Omung Kumar. This is the second opportunity after his debut film ‘Mary Kom’ to work with the filmmaker.

The role of the lawyer is one who fights the case to gain justice for Sarabjit Singh. The biopic narrates the story of late Indian farmer, Sarabjit Singh, who was convicted for spying in Pakistan. He died in the Pakistani prison after allegedly being attacked by inmates in Lahore.

The film features Randeep Hooda playing the title role of Sarabjit, whereas Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be playing the role of his sister Dalbir Kaur on-screen.
