Bollywood lost another great talent as veteran actor Jagdeep passed away on July 8. The 81-year-old actor breathed his last around 8:30 pm yesterday. It was revealed that he died due to health-related issues. Jagdeep shared a very good relation with Johny Lever. Johny had attended his funeral and also spoke about the late actor and some fond memories.

Johny was talking to the paparazzi after Jagdeep’s funeral. He recalled his fond memories of the veteran actor. Johny revealed that when he used to work with him her would try and imitate him. He feels grateful to have gotten the opportunity to work with Jagdeep. Johny also revealed that he faced the camera for the first time with Jagdeep in 1979 in the movie ‘Yeh Rishta Na Toote’.

Johny further said that Jagdeep would always talk good things about the industry. He said that he has learnt a lot from him. Johnny Lever said that Jagdeep is an ”irreplaceable treasure in cinema”. Talking about Jagdeep’s movies, Lever said that people would recite his dialogues as the would leave the theatres after watching his films.

Mourning Jagdeep’s death Johny wrote on his Twitter handle, “My first film & the first time I ever faced the camera, was in the film #yehrishtanatoote with the legend himself #Jagdeep bhai. We will miss you…May his soul rest in peace ?? Our prayers & deepest condolences to the family.”
