Kangana Ranaut Ranveer Singh

Earlier today, Kangana Ranaut unveiled the trailer of her upcoming intense drama – inspired by true events, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata. During the trailer launch, Kangana interacted with the media and spoke about several things, including the non-cooperation directive issued against Ranveer Singh by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees.

For the unversed, FWICE asked its members not to collaborate with Singh in any capacity until he appears before the film body and discusses why he walked out of Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Don 3 weeks before the film was scheduled to go on floors. Scroll below to read what she said.

When asked about the issue, Kangana Ranaut replied, “I’ve been banned by everybody. Jab aapki haisiyat badhti hai toh aapke dushman bhi badhte hain. Ranveer Singh ko sochna chahiye ki unki kya haisiyat hai ki unke itne dushman hai. Zindagi mein jab aap aage badhte hain toh bahut sare obstacles aate hain.” (When your status increases, your enemies also increase. So, it’s not possible that your status increases and your enemies don’t increase. Ranveer Singh should think about his status as he now has so many enemies).”

She continued, “Mere sath bhi itna hua hai and look today I’m doing well. Meri bhi gaadi achi chal rahi hai. Kuch nahi hota. Everything is going to be fine eventually. (It’s happened to me as well so many times, but my career is going fine despite them. It doesn’t matter. Everything is going to be fine eventually)

For the unversed, Kangana Ranaut faced massive backlash from the film industry in 2020 when she claimed that Sushant Singh Rajput’s death by suicide was a result of the outsider treatment he was receiving from top industry names. Know for starting conversations about nepotism in Bollywood, the actress-politician claimed that even she was a victim of the same issue till she carved a niche for herself.

On the work front, Kangana will soon be seen playing the lead in Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata. Based on the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, and how a few nurses saved over 400 lives by keeping the surgeries and treatment running at Cama Hospital, the film will release on June 12.
