Kareena will be perfect to play Madhubala in biopic, says the latter’s sister
Recently, late veteran actress Madhubala’s wax figure was unveiled at Madame Tussauds in Delhi. This beautiful wax figure is inspired by the actress’ legendary character Anarkali from the film ‘Mughal-e-Azam’. Madhur Brij, the sister of the late actress, was also present at the launch of the wax figure.
Following the trend of biopics in Bollywood, Madhur was perhaps asked which Bollywood actress would be the ideal choice to play the part of Madhubala, if someone ever decided to make a biopic on this charismatic and beautiful actress. She chose actress Kareena Kapoor Khan to be perfect as she has the same naughtiness that the her sister used to have.
Madhur Brij said, “There was a time when I wanted Madhuri Dixit to play the role of Madhubala, but now it has to be Kareena, as she has the same naughtiness that Madhubala used to have. She is a beautiful actress too.” (Also Read:Kareena Kapoor Khan clears that she doesn’t go to gym to get zero size)
Well, the sounds interesting. After all, Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the few artistes who continue to surprise fans and admirers with their performances in films, and Bebo has done it time and again in films like ‘Jab We Met’, ‘Omkara’ and most recently ‘Udta Punjab’.
Currently, the actress is in Gstaad, Switzerland vacationing with her hubby Saif Ali Khan and cute little son Taimur Ali Khan. Talking about films, the actress will next be seen in ‘Veere Di Wedding’ which starts its next schedule soon.
Ranbir Kapoor: I suffer from anxiety issues after finishing a film
Mental illness is still not considered as a sickness and people shy away from discussion about it. No, when you suffer from some mental disease you are crazy or mad, it is as normal as a physical sickness. Our society is easily influenced by famous personalities and sometimes people also follow them blindly. So when Bollywood actors come in the open and talk about suffering from depression or any other mental illness, people become aware about it and somewhere start considering it as a serious problem.
Recently, Ranbir Kapoor, who is gearing up for the release of ‘Sanju’ has confessed that he is suffering from anxiety issues. Ranbir has been busy with the promotion of his upcoming film which is a biopic on Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. He has been giving multiple interviews and has shared some fantastic stories about his life, personal and professional. (Also Read: Deepika’s message on depression post Anthony Bourdain and Kate Spade’s suicides is a must read)
In one such interview with film critic Anupama Chopra before the release of ‘Sanju’, Ranbir shared about what he goes through before and after the release of the film. He said, “I suffer from anxiety issues after finishing a film and before the film hits theatres. It has happened with every one of my films.”
This is an important point to note for all those people who thought that the film industry is all about glam and fame. The harsh reality is, there is stress and pressure even here and the biggest of stars suffer from mental illness. In the past, Deepika Padukone, Ileana D’Cruz have also openly spoken about battling depression, and we are glad they did.
Ranbir’s upcoming film, ‘Sanju’ also stars Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Jim Sarbh, Karishma Tanna, Boman Irani and others. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani the film will release on June 29.

Now isn’t that the cutest wish a father could have wished for his son? We wish Linga a very Happy Birthday.
On the professional front, Dhanush is gearing up for two Tamil films. One is gangster drama ‘Vada Chennai’ and the other is ‘Maari 2’ which is scheduled to release by the year-end.
Dhanush had made his Bollywood debut with Aanand L Rai’s ‘Raanjhanaa’ opposite Sonam Kapoor and was last seen in R Balki’s satirical drama ‘Shamitabh‘ alongside Amitabh Bachchan. We wonder when the actor will be seen in a Hindi film again.
