Despite her last film ‘Zero’, which did not perform well at the box office, Katrina Kaif seems happy as her role as Babita Kumar is loved by the audience. In ‘Zero’, she pulled off the character exactly the way filmmaker Aanand L Rai and writer Himanshu Sharma wanted it. Talking about her experience with ‘Bharat’, Kat said that she feels that shooting for ‘Bharat’ has been a different experience altogether. She feels blessed to be a part of the film and said that shooting for the film has been inspiring and challenging for her.

In an interview with DNA, Katrina said, “From the moment I started prep for this film till date, it’s been such a journey of discovery and learning. There have been so many moments while filming that I will always cherish.

Over the period of time, Katrina feels that she has grown and changed immensely as a person.  “I joined Bollywood when I was 18 and I’m not the same girl anymore because my life experiences have changed me. With knowledge, dedication and experience, you find those films that take you to the next level. That’s exactly what Aanand sir and Himanshu did with this movie. They gave me an opportunity to do that. For me, that’s important because ‘Zero’ helped me take a step forward as a performer,” Katrina added.

On the work front, Katrina Kaif is shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat’ and the film is scheduled to release on Eid 2019.
