Lust Stories 2 teaser: Neena Gupta, Kajol, Mrunal Thakur, Tamannaah Bhatia promise a spicier sequel

In 2018, Netflix came with the anthology Lust Stories. It proved super successful and gave a big push to the careers of Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal. Now, the anthology is returning with a sequel and on Tuesday, the teaser of Lust Stories 2 was unveiled.

This anthology is led by 6 woman- Neena Gupta, Kajol, Tamannaah Bhatia, Mrunal Thakur, Tillotama Shome and Amruta Subhash. It also features Vijay Varma, Kumud Mishra and Angad Bedi. The teaser gives a glimpse into the story of these characters exploring their attractions and sensuality.

Neena ji as a liberal senior woman, who emphasises on getting to know physical compatibility before marriage will make you respect her even more. Mrunal and Angad’s chemistry as well as Tamannaah and Vijay’s seems to be the USP of this anthology. The relationship rumours of Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma started during the filming of this anthology only.

One of the most striking feature in the teaser is also Tamannaah’s look. The styling is quite different from what we have seen of the actress till date. She seems ultra stylish in a saree which gives her a different look. Kajol’s story is yet to be unfolded but the actress’ eyes do most of the talking even in this short teaser.

The 2018 anthology featured actors Radhika Apte, Bhumi Pednekar, Manisha Koirala, Kiara, Vicky, Neil Bhoopalam, Akash Thosar, Neha Dhupia, Sanjay Kapoor and Jaideep Ahlawat amongst others. Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Karan Johar helmed the 4 stories in that. A spin-off of the anthology, Ghost Stories, released in 2020 with the 4 directors returning.

The directors on this anthology are Sujoy Ghosh, R Balki, Konkona Sensharma and Amit Ravindernath Sharma. It will start streaming on June 29, 2023 on Netflix.
