Neha Dhupia reveals she was fired for being pregnant

Neha Dhupia has been at the top of the game for quite a long time now. She has been one of the most stunning actresses. But apart from acting, she has been a part of the reality shows like Roadies. This helped people connect with her more. Well, Neha has always spoken her heart out about various topics and issues. Recently, in an interview with Faye D’souza, Neha Dhupia elaborated on her experience in the industry post-motherhood. On the one hand, Neha accepted that the industry is kind in its ways. On the other hand, she revealed what the actors have to face post-pregnancy.

Neha Dhupia on getting fired…

Neha said, “The kind of work that I do or I want to do, the good thing that happens with having 20 years of work behind you is that the minute you pick up the phone, people give you those meetings. Yeah but there are important questions asked even there. The Chup Chup ke actress further said, “You’ve become a mom, will you be able to sign on an OTT show and give us this much time? How’s it going back home? You know that there are polite questions asked in a room but I also think those are valid questions”

Moreover, Neha added that these are valid questions. And if she were a producer, wanting to cast someone, she would consider such questions. Later, the actress added to the information and said, “ I did get fired for being pregnant so that happens too”
